Our coaching approach relies on a well-defined and interactive follow-up strategy. Over the last 10 years, our research on feedback and follow-up has clearly shown that leaders are much more likely to achieve behavioral change if they consistently involve key stakeholders in the change process.

First pioneered by Marshall Goldsmith and several CoachSource consultants, mini-surveys represent a unique measurement of behavioral change. Surveys are designed so the leaders being coached receive regular feedback from stakeholders and staff.

What gets measured gets done!

Easy-to-take stakeholder surveys monitor progress

Online mini-survey assessments are short and effective. They focus on the targeted behaviors selected by our clients at six and 12 months in a typical one-year engagement.

Mini-survey results can be combined for multiple leaders (or groups of leaders), providing our client organizations with useful organizational insights.

Leadership Effectiveness Survey
The above chart is a sample result from one company. The question asked was:

Has this person become more or less effective as a leader since the feedback session?
Nearly 57% of respondents felt that leaders had improved in overall leadership effectiveness at a “+2” and “+3” level. Over 78% respondents felt leaders had improved at a “+1”, “+2” and “+3” level. Nineteen percent of respondents felt leaders did not change, while nearly 3% felt leaders got worse.
